Website hosting.

We host websites both for our own clients and anyone else looking for an affordable and reliable hosting solution.

1 years hosting with us will cost the following amount -

  • £15 for our design clients.
  • £25 for all others.
  • An additional charge of £5 per year will be made if you wish to have ftp access to your site to make changes yourself - otherwise we are more than happy to maintain the site for you. Generally, we are happy to make a couple of small changes to your site for free, whilst extensive changes to the site will incur a small charge.

Domain registration.

We register domains for our clients at cost price.

  • $9 (£5) per year for (.com .net .org .biz .info .us), 1+ years.
  • £3 per year for (.co.uk or any other UK domain), minimum 2 years.

Logo and Graphic design.

A new corporate image can breathe fresh life into your business. We offer such a service for just £30. Similarly, we also carry out stand alone design work for animations, still image advertising, animated GIFs, banners, infact any image for any purpose - just get in touch for a quote or just a general chat about your project.



Flash banners and advertisements.

We can design banners of any size and shape, for use on your own site as a header, or as an advertisement on another site.

Headers - a Flash header can add that extra bit of 'zip' to your site, which might make all the difference between a sale and another casual browser. They can be designed overtly, as a seperate entity (as they are on this site) or they can be integrated into other still imagery, to blend in with the rest of your site. Either way, they look great.

Advertising Banners - DoubleClick, the largest internet ad network, reports that viewers click on Flash ads nine times more often than on standard GIF ads. You can't argue with those figures, so if you are looking for effective advertising, why not go with Flash?

Prices -
Rotating gallery of images (examples 1, 2) - £10
Full Flash banner or advertisement (e.g. the flash headers on this site) - £25-50

Image manipulation.

Prices are anything from £5 to £50 based on complexity. Something like the removal of the electricity pylon below would cost around £10 as a stand alone service, or £5 as an add on to our web design base package. For a more more information on this offering, click here.

Forums & Guestbooks.

Interactive features on your website can both attract and retain custom.

Guestbooks
We offer a simple guestbook, which enables people to leave a message on your site, for free with any web design package. You can find an example on this site.

Forums / Message Boards
If you want to encourage return visits to your site, you would do well to include a forum and pack it full of interesting discussions. Forum styling can be customised to fit your companies corporate image, whilst there are endless add ons and modifications to your message board, which will increase usability and interest in your site.

We use phpBB2 forums as a standard, but are happy to work with other forum types if you prefer.

Forum Process

  • phpBB2 forums start with a basic site template known as 'subsilver'.
  • If we are hosting your site, we will happily install this basic site format for £20 as an add on.
  • If you want to modify your forum from the basic styling, we will happily assist you, or do it for you. There are a number of free to download forum styles available on the net, so we will happily install one of those for you, for free.
  • If you require further customisation, we are more than happy to carry out such work for a fee of £15 for basic modification and about £45 for moderate-high modification.

Online Stores.

If you want to sell your product online, we offer either a complete online store offering or Paypal payment integrated into your own site.

Full online store
We use osCommerce for our online stores. This is freeware, meaning you save on license costs and software charges, which can be extortionate. Having said that, the software is as good if not better than most of the paid software on offer, so we do not compromise on quality!

If we are hosting your site for you we are happy to install a basic, unedited online store for an extra £20. If you wish, you can take over at that point. However, if you would also like us to upload and categorise all your products, set up the financial side and customise the graphics on the store, we will happily oblige. The fee for this will depend on the volume of work and a price will be agreed before work starts.

Info you need to know - to have a fully functional online store like this, you will need to arrange with your bank account to accept online payments. They will provide details / codes which enable us to calibrate the online store, so it functions automatically. All bank accounts will charge a fee for this service, whether it be a flat fee per year, a % of sales or a combination of both. These fees vary between banks.

Paypal payment
From simple 'donate' buttons to comprehensive shopping carts, Paypal payment is a great way to get your foot on the ladder, when it comes to selling online. All you need is a Paypal account and you can start selling straight away, with the option to accept payment from other Paypal accounts or direct from debit and credit cards.

You can of course do all of this yourself, but we are happy to help if you are either inexperienced or lack the time to carry out the work.

HTML email templates.

Emails can be formatted using exactly the same methods as an actual website, portraying increased professionalism and providing continuity - key aspects of cementing a strong brand identity. We offer such emails for around £30 and can provide you with an editable template for future use.

As you can see, even without images, putting the plain text in a border and formatting it can make a massive difference in appearance and therefore a massive difference in how your clients will view it. Should you require images in your email, they can be easily added.

All images are stored on our site and NOT within the email itself, meaning the size of the email remains small.
